Whitney Bradley
Whitney brings a wealth of talent and experience to Retreats Resources, from twenty years of corporate event planning and marketing consultation and strategy to television production, web design, copywriting, public relations, graphic design and social media. Her event clients include Verizon, Daimler Chrysler/Mercedes, Michelin, BMW Manufacturing Corporation, First Robotics, Bi-Lo grocery stores, BMW Motorrad, Homepoint (Music City) Bowl, and many others.
Her eight years on and behind the stage provided a great knowledge base for event and show production, and she’s surprised at how often she draws on that experience. She was a television host for a sports show on the College Sports Southeast network as well as a radio personality for the Clemson Sports Network for seven seasons, so it’s safe to say she can talk sports as adeptly as HTML.
Whitney’s a TED.com junkie and is heavily involved with TEDxGreenville, performing the role of salon curator for the monthly conferences. She was Executive Director of The International Center of the Upstate for four years, where she helped develop a month-long cultural celebration containing over 100 unique events. And in her “spare” time, she is a singer/songwriter who loves to perform soul music, R&B, jazz, funk, and Motown with her band, Groove Planet. She’s the mother of two sweet and talented daughters, Avery and Sutton, and got married in 2015 to her wonderful, brilliant husband, John.
